Chef’s from across the Upstate came together last weekend to raise money for local food rescue, Loaves & Fishes. Taste of the Upstate is the annual fundraiser for the Greenville food rescue organization that rescues blemished and day old food from grocers and restaurants, and redistributes it to folks who need it. At this years event, chefs were tasked with creating a dish that utilized leftovers and transformed it into another dish, the theme was “magical makeovers”.
