Chef Michael C. Sibert flipping his own restaurant script

Featured Photo: Greer-based chef and Greenwood native Michael Sibert has crafted his upscale White Wine and Butter dining experiences in part through in-home experiences, before launching multiple brands under the White Wine and Butter umbrella, including Anonymous Burger, Hendrix Chicken and Waffles and White Wine and Butter catering.

Chef Sibert’s Spinach and Cheese Bake Chef Michael’s mom, Cassandra, made this for him growing up and it’s one of his party staples now: Ingredients 2 (10-ounce) bags frozen chopped spinach 1 clove of fresh garlic, sliced 8 oz whipped cream cheese 1lb of shredded mozzarella cheese 1lb of shredded Parmesan cheese (not grated) 16 oz of favorite jarred Alfredo sauce Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 350 F 2. In a large pot, boil the spinach according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside. 3. In a skillet, sauté the sliced garlic 4. Add the cooked spinach, whipped cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and Alfredo sauce to the skillet. Stir everything together until well combined. 5. Transfer the mixture to a foil pan. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly. 7. Serve warm with tortilla chips or toast rounds.
